Lateral Wall Sinus Floor Elevation for Implant Placement: Revisiting Fundamentals and the Surgical Technique

摘要

Sinus fl oor augmentation procedure is indicated to reconstruct the posterior maxilla with a suffi cient amount of bone to allow for successful implant placement. This paper reviews the contemporary lateral wall technique, the related anatomy and some concepts and properties concerning graft materials currently available.
