Through the indoor thermal environment test of traditional residential building in Qin Ba mountain area, this paper analy zes the testing results. The measures for saving energy are proposed and their effects are simulated and analy zed by applying energy consumption simulation software in this paper. Technical recommendations in attempts to improve indoor comfort and energy conservation in the buildings in this region are also made, providing design reference for the construction and relocation of new residential buildings in Qin Ba Mountain.
