With the increasing hazard of HCH and DDT, the detection method of the two organochlorine pesticides residues in plants has drawn more and more attention. Results indicated that focus on key steps of sample pretreatment (extraction, purification, etc.) and temperature programming elements of gas chromatograph could effectively improve the accuracy of detection and analysis. The importance of the key elements was verified by comparing the target content and the determination of the object content in samples. The method played an important role in the detection of trace residues HCH and DDT in plants.
