Improved Logistic Regression Model and Its Application in The Study of The Influence Factors of Domestic Violence in Women

To study the information of domestic violence in rural areas of Tangshan City and approach the factors that affect the domestic violence. A face to face investigate was conducted in married women in 3 villages of Tangshan. SPSS16.0 software was used to analysis. Through statistical analysis, Chi square test and unconditional logistic regression model, the present situation and influencing factors of women's domestic violence were discussed. The prevalence rate of domestic violence against women was 79.1% the prevalence rate of physical violence was 49.7%, the prevalence rate of gender-based violence was 40.5%, the prevalence rate of emotional violence was 71.8%.The main reasons leadings to physical violence involve education degree of both sides, the family income, the status of women in families and so on. Rural women are more likely to suffer from domestic violence. More than 20% women often suffer from violence, which will have a great impact on women's physical and mental health.
