摘要

In this paper, we introduce a class of ??second derivative multistep methods ??that possesses a parallel feature for the numerical solution of stiff initial value problems. These methods are also equipped with superfuture points technique that causes the methods have wide region of absolute stability. Their accuracy and stability characteristics are examined in some detail and some numerical experiments are given to show efficiency of this new class of methods.
