To lead the conveyor belt transport cross water area the pontoon are used to support the carry- ing structure of the belts. The accident can happen when the pontoon turnover. For this reason the pontoon stability is investigated. The stability is described by the Reed’s diagram. This can be con- structed analytically or via numerical modeling. Both methods are described in the paper.
