摘要

We are reporting a model for accelerating Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) or Wind Turbine (BIWT)projects in the kingdom of Bahrain which consists of two parts. The first part is dealing with establishing a simplemathematical model to calculate the Sustainable Building Index (SBI) in the kingdom of Bahrain –which was publishedearlier. The second part – which is the scope of this paper - is establishing a comprehensive model which consists of fourarms that lead to the acceleration of BIPV and BIWT by virtue of concentrating on one - or more elements - in one arm.Each arm consists of elements in a form of policies or mechanisms that Bahrain should establish. These arms are the incentives,legislation, penalties, and strategies.
