Significant changes from the 2008 to the 2011 edition of ACI 318

>Significant changes made since the publication of the 2008 Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete (ACI 318-08) and Commentary (ACI 318R-08) that are reflected in the 2011 edition of the code are summarized. Changes affecting conventionally reinforced concrete as well as precast, prestressed concrete, including post-tensioned concrete, are enumerated. The changes to “Appendix D: Anchoring to Concrete” are particularly important and are of major interest to the precast/prestressed concrete industry.
