Interdependence Between Indixes of General and Specific Physical Preparation of Highly Qualified Female Judokas

The study presents the results of determining indices of general and specific physical preparation of 11 female judokas - Polish national team representative in the seniors' category. A correlative analysis has shown that the nature of dependence between particular indices of the International Physical Fitness Test (IPFT) and of the indices of specific physical preparation in Sterkowicz's test (1995) is more distinct and diversified than the results of Igumienow's test (1987). Higher indices of the IPFT, primarily reflecting speed and speed-strength capabilities, also corresponded with higher indices of the TSSR test.
