The author will discuss the bird strike phenomenon and its impacton the air transport of passengers. In addition to the above, examples of flyingaccidents mainly caused by bird strikes will be provided. Furthermore, the issueof responsibility for accidents caused by bird strikes will be discussed, alongsidelegal regulations pertaining to subjects connected with the topic.
