SHRINKING THE GEOGRAPHICAL SPACE DUE TO THE GLOBAL CRISES

The present paper analyses the way in which different economic, social, geopolitical crises have affected or are still affecting the world population. In this respect, the authors have tried to classify the crises according to the geographical space they affect. In order to point out the seriousness of the global crises we have chosen two cases with a high global destabilising potential. We shall have on the one hand, the crisis of the World trade Organisation which is due to the disagreements regarding the Doha Round between the member states and on the other hand, the international terrorism that developed after the fall of Communism. However, we have also examined the global crisis effects.
