The Brazilian Committee Specialized in Sexology of theBrazilian Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics Associa tions (FEBRASGO) and the Brazilian Association of Studies onHuman Sexuality (SBRASH) have been asked to talk about thecontroversy involving sexuality education (SE) in elementaryand high schools. The broad discussion of the members of theFEBRASGO committee and the board of SBRASH, that is,physicians (gynecologists, obstetricians, psychiatrists andurologists), psychologists, and educators, resulted in thepresent editorial.
