Este artigo apóia-se na interdisciplinaridade da Ciência da Informa??o para fomentar a discuss?o sobre sistemas de representa??o da informa??o em ambientes de produ??o e colabora??o na web e a organiza??o de seus conteúdos. Apresenta a ascens?o da Folksonomia como novo modo de organizar conhecimentos na web . A movimenta??o desta informa??o compartilhada demanda a necessidade de aprimoramento nos estudos referente ao tema por parte das disciplinas que comp?e a Ciência da Informa??o. This study presents the historical-conceptual contextualization of the recuperation of information in the scope of Science Information and in the scope of knowledge manegement systems aiming to present collaboration and sharing information networks. It also approaches the Folksonomy, natural language of classification used by the web users to index information in collaborative environments mediated by computer and their implications to recover information.
