Effect of the technique in the evaluation of seminal quality

AstudywasdevelopedintheSwineResearchInstitute(IIP),withtheobjectiveofdeterminingtheeffectoftheevaluationtechniqueintheproductionofseminaldosesforArtificialInsemination.Atotalof335ejaculationsfrom12malesofgenotypesCC21(4),Yorkshire(4)andL35(4)with9and12monthsofagewereevaluated.Forthispurpose,werecomparedtwotechnologiesofseminalcontrast(treatment1and2).Ontreatment1(control),indicatorswereanalyzedaccordingtoIIP(1998),andontreatment2(Experimental),therewereanalyzedaccordingtoKubus(1999).Theresultsshowhowthetotalofdosesproduced(15.17vs.19.36)wassignificantlydifferentbeinghigherontreatment2.Thespermaticresistanceatdifferenttimeswashigherusingtreatment1.nbsp;Itissuggestedthepossibilitytointroducethetechniquesusedintreatment2,intheroutineevaluationofseminalqualityinnbsp;boarsinCuba.
