MODIFICATION OF DIESEL FUEL’S PROPERTIES BY DIFFERENT ADDITIVTES

The main direction for the production of high quality diesel fuels (DF) is their compliance with the requirements of regulatory documentation. Currently, Russian Federation has GOST R 52368-2005 ?Diesel fuel.Euro. Specifications? within which provided for improvement performance of fuels and reduction of negative impact of DF on the environment by reducing the content of sulfur, nitrogen compounds and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. However, refineries encountered several problems in the production of diesel fuels satisfying modern requirements. Ultra-low sulfur dieselloses lubricity, which directly affects the performance and life of the fuel system. Dieselization of automotive engineering leads to a constant growth of demand for DF and their resources can be significantly increased through the involvement in heavy diesel oil fractions (increase of final boiling temperature).However, the content of high-melting n-alkanes in fuels increases that leads to a deterioration of fluidity and filtration through a fuel filter element at low temperatures. Thus, the low-temperature properties are also one of the main obstacles to wide release of fuels. Solving these problems can be provided by a combination of the use of various additives, their rational dosing and optimal compounding of DF components. The research concerns the influence of fraction composition of diesel fuels to their lubricity and low temperature properties. The analysis involved the influence of additives of different use manufactured by JSC”STC Salavatnefteorgsintez” to the properties of diesels. Ways to improve the fuels’ susceptibility to additives have been studied.
