We read, with great interest, the article byBrockfeld et al. [1] evaluating the use of videoversus live lectures. Being medical students at theUniversity of Birmingham and Imperial CollegeLondon, we have personal experience of theadvantages and disadvantages of the twoapproaches as our universities employ both. Thetech-savvy nature of the current millennial gen-eration of medical students coupled withimprovements in telecommunication technologyopens new avenues for more efficient and effec-tive delivery of medical education. Nonetheless,such educational approaches should not beblindly embraced without careful considerationof potential consequences.
