Highlights ? Nonbacterial thrombotic endocarditis can occur in ovarian clear cell carcinoma. ? We report on NBTE-associated embolic cerebrovascular infarcts in advanced OCCC. ? Further NBTE-associated embolic events can be prevented with anticoagulant therapy.
