This work is an investigation into the role that physics had in training teachers in the early years andthe role it has within the discipline Natural Sciences, taught by them, carried out through a case studyin a public school in the city of Salinas. From a bibliographical study the hypothesis that physics ispoorly crafted by teachers in the early years, identifying that this factor is directly related to the initialtraining of teachers who teach these years emerged. For this survey, we applied a semi-structuredquestionnaire that sought to investigate the design of each teacher of Physics, identify the contentsworked Sciences, meet potential limitations, methodologies used by them, to analyze the influence ofhis early training and interest in a continuing education. 10 teachers participated in the survey, the totalnumber of elementary school teachers I school. The survey results show that the identification of theproblem of teaching physics and science in the early years revolves around the initial training and thelack of continued training and that when it comes to science teachers emphasize the biological and fallshort of the teachings in Physics.
