摘要

We lay mathematical foundations for an interaction-based model for multi-agentcomplex systems. Emergence and evolution of such systems are analyzed in light of themodel. Various hierarchical levels within such complex systems are observed and the nature ofinteractions among such levels and among units within the levels are studied. The modificationof the identities of the units is also examined. Scenarios are briefly mentioned from psychologyand social history to suggest possible future uses of the model and to substantiate the need foran interaction-physics based model to understand complex social phenomena.
