摘要

The aim of the present study was to identify the modalities and didactic resources used by the teaching staff to develop science and biology classes, reflexively analyzing their usage. Questionnaires were applied to 113 teachers from 55 municipal, state and private elementary and secondary schools offering courses to both young people and adults. The teachers believe that using different?didactic strategies and resources may favor the teaching and learning process. However, due to the lack of resources, physical structure, time and planning, traditional textbooks and a blackboard are still the most widely used, followed by theoretical classes, as methodological strategies. It is necessary, therefore that teachers and the school community be motivated, engaged and participate by researching, evaluating and selecting the most effective resources and methodologies in accordance with the learning objectives and the target public involved with the goal of improving the teaching-learning process
