Vascular surgery training must aim to produce vascular andendovascular surgeons to deliver modern vascular surgeryservices to the community. Ideally, it should be available inthe country of one’s residence.Training in general should berounded and wholesome covering all aspects of the newvascular curriculum specifically achieving the requisitenumbers of index cases prescribed by the vascular specialistadvisory committee (SAC).
