PRODU??O DE ADUBO ORG?NICO EMPREGANDO DIFERENTES CONCENTRA??ES DE RESíDUOS DE RúMEN BOVINO/CASCAS DE CAFé

This work studied the treatment of the bovine ruminal waste incorporated into residue of coffee husks by composting. For this, three piles aerated by manual mixing were used, with these proportions: 90% bovine rumen (R) and 10% coffe husks (CC); 85% bovine rumen and 15% coffe husks; 80% bovine rumen and 20% coffe husks. The parameters analyzed in this study were: pH, moisture, organic matter, ash, organic carbon, Kjeldahl nitrogen and C/N ratio. The initial characterizations of the mixtures indicated that the material was in the suitable range for the treatment by composting, and only the moisture presented above. At the end of the composting process, the characterization of the final composts presented similar results, but, above to the established to the “IN n. 25 de 23/07/2009 do Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento”, for the parameter moisture. Only the pile 2 (85%R; 15%CC) presented C/N ratio in accordance with the “IN”.
