摘要

The main purpose of this research was to determine the associations between servant leadership style and employees’ work performance which is mediating by the employees’ motivation in Non governmental organizations, Islamabad, Pakistan. 7 non governmental organizations in Islamabad selected at randomly for survey and collected data through structured and close ended questionnaire. 200 questionnaires were distributed among the employees who were working in these organizations and 158 employees responded out of 200 employees. The results show, the employees’ work motivation played full mediation role between servant leadership and employees’ work performance in NGOs. So servant leaders can increase the employees’ work performance mediating by employees’ motivation and all study’s hypothesizes were significantly confirmed. The managers and leaders of the non governmental organizations should adopt this servant leadership style for increasing the motivation level and performance of the employees. The servant leadership style refers to the leaders who are working as servant of the employees as well as they highly concerned with the satisfaction and other needs interests of the subordinates and employees. We are sure; it would be first research which conducted in Pakistani NGOs that servant leaders can affect on employees’ motivation and employees’ work performance.
