Inrecentdecades,scientificadvancesinstrengthtrainingandphysicaltherapyenabledthedevelopmentofmachines,whichcanmonitorandperformtheexercisewithversatilityandmultifunctionality,suchastheisokineticdynamometers(ID).NowadaysitcanbeidentifiedsomeproblemswithID,including:a)highcost,b)isokineticimpact,c)postureonthedynamometerdonotsimulatethepostureonsports,d)misalignmentofthearticularanatomiccenterofrotationtothecenterofrotationofthedynamometer.TheobjectiveofthepresentresearchistodevelopaprototypeofanewIDconceptionthatshouldgivetheoreticalandpracticalsupporttoperformingsolutionsthatsatisfytheproblemsrelatedabove.TheprototypeofanewIDconceptionisdeployedbyPRODIPmethodologyencompassingthephasesofplanningdesign,informationaldesign,conceptualdesignandpreliminarydesign.Comparingthesimulatedresultswiththetheory,foreachexercisemode,itcanbeconcludedthattheprototypecanbeusedtosupportpossibleinnovationsfortheproblemsmentionedabove./font
