TheMainComponentAnalysisconstitutesastatisticaltoolthathastraditionallybeenlittleusedbyagriculturalresearchers.Thisstudyshowstheadvantagesofitsuseoverotherstatisticalmethodsanditsusefulnessintheinterpretationofalternativenutritionsystemsinsugarcane.TheexperimentwascarriedoutonCambisolsoilsinthestrainofregrowthsofmorethanthreecuttings,evaluatingtheperformanceoftheplantbeforedifferenttransferenceformsofthePlantGrowthPromotingRhizobacteriatothefield(liquidandsolid).Thesolidformsarebasedonpeatandsugarcanefilteredmud.Themainresultsobtainedindicatedthatleaflength,stemwidth,leafwidth,numberofleaves,leafareaamongotherswerethevariableswiththehighestcontributiontotheevaluatedsystem.Itwasalsoconcludedthatthebiologicalsystemsforthenutritionofsugarcanecontributehighervariabilitytotheproductiveindicators./fontbr
