The system has a database of a placebo electro-cardiogram (ECG) for storing placebo ECG database recordings, and another database for storing ventricular systole time (QT) prolonged ECG recordings using a drug e.g. moxifloxcin. The database of the QT prolonged ECG is configured such that a user selects a set of the QT prolonged ECG recordings. An examiner makes an interpretation based on analysis of a set of clinical study specific drug ECG recordings, set of placebo ECG recordings and QT prolonged ECG recordings. A user interface device receives the interpretation from the examiner. An independent claim is also included for a method for managing an electro-cardiogram during a clinical study.
