摘要

The objective of the research is to analyze the salary policies established in the management of public higher education institutions. This makes it possible to evaluate the criteria and principles for defining the remuneration of university teachers, for job satisfaction. The research had a non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive design, in which a questionnaire was made up of 41 items, applied to 6 human resources managers and payroll managers of public universities. The results showed that the institutions do not take into account factors of incidence such as salary standards or stimulation of performance and human talent, for the remuneration and benefits of university personnel.
