The scientific and technical advances that have occurred in interventional cardiology in the last de-cades have allowed improving the quality of life and increasing survival of patients with cardiovascular disease. This, in turn, has created new ethical pro-blems, which lead to a different assessment of moral behaviors in view of new technical and clinical possi-bilities1.
