摘要

Thin films of Copper bismuth sulphide prepared on well cleaned glass substrates by chemical deposition showed polycrystalline in nature with monoclinic structure. The average grain sizes as calculated from Scherrer’s formula were found to be within the range 237 ? to 752 ?. The films are oriented in the (403) direction. In addition, optical studies revealed that variation of optical band gap with thickness: 2.62 to 2.19 eV
