The UK Reserve Forces are an integral part of Britain's military successes, yet can often be overlooked by the general public, and even the powers that be. There are thousands of reservists working across the UK, who may be called up at any time to assist with operations at home or abroad in various capacities; full-time reservists serve with regular service personnel for a set period of time, while some serve part-time in a particular capacity, and some are sponsored through a contractor to assist in a specific role. They contribute to the smooth running of the army, navy and RAF, and without their assistance and dedication, the country's military operations would lose a vital support network.
