Following a rigorous tender process ThyssenKrupp Aerospace has been awarded the contract for the supply of the Warrior top armour by the MoD. This is the latest contract awarded to ThyssenKrupp Aerospace from the MoD for such work, they are also contracted to supply replacement structural components for damaged land vehicles returning from theatre, manufactured and refitted to original drawings and specifications. ThyssenKrupp Aerospace was involved with TES(H) where 70 vehicles received a ￡30m upgrade, with the urgent operational requirement completed two months ahead of schedule.
