Project Kestrel - Information Systems and Services' backbone communications network - is now complete, guaranteeing increased capacity and improved quality of communications in Afghanistan.Operation Herrick is relying on systems like Kestrel, which offers the users general applications like email and more specialised applications including stores tracking tools.Created in response to a number of Urgent Operational Requirements, Kestrel is enhancing information systems deployed in Helmand Province.
