Fonterra has opened a new innovation centre in Shanghai to help feed China's growing appetite for dairy nutrition, the company says. The new centre will focus on developing dairy products and ingredients for local Chinese customers and consumers. Fonterra CEO Theo Spierings says innovation underpins the global strategy and is critical to the inte- grated milk business being built in China.
