NASWA's Bill Oliver Passes Away

Glorioski glen! We're already into the Major League baseball season, not to mention June. Welcome to summer and another tide of shortwave-lets:- I'll begin with some sad, sad news. Bill Oliver, the publisher and business manager of the North American Shortwave Association (NASWA), passed away of a heart attack at age 89 in late March. Bill published both the monthly NASWA "Journal" and the Longwave Club of America's "Lowdown" bulletins. NASWA is the only all shortwave broadcast listening and DX club in America.
