Viacom's Chief addresses issue of copyright protection in digital age

Sumner Redstone, Chairman of Viacom and CBS, launched the annual Seoul Digital Forum with a keynote address focusing on the importance of original content and copyright protection in the digital age. The Seoul Digital Forum, sponsored by South Korea's SBS television network, gathers together leading technology and media industry figures over a three day conference. In his first visit to the country, Redstone concentrated on film and video piracy, noting that film piracy alone costs the US economy more than $20billion every year.
