On 19 May 2004 over a hundred people attended a debate in Savoy Place in London, hosted by the IEE Control and Automation Professional Network. Professor Kevin Warwick of Reading University and Professor Chris Malcolm of Edinburgh University were invited to put across their views both for and against the motion: Intelligent Cyborgs: Science Fact or Science Fiction?.
