Simplex Foundations is currently installing bearing piles and a contiguous bored piled wall into mudstone and siltstones for phase one of a £200 million mixed-use development adjacent to Newcastle United's St James' Park stadium.rnThe piling installation is dealing with variable ground conditions including ground water ingress, rock strata and hard drilling, and working at split levels with a higher and lower piling platform level.
