Specialist contractor Helirig has installed a smoke ventilation unit by helicopter at Westfield's Stratford City shopping centre scheme in east London. It took more than 20 workers three and a half hours to complete the procedure - during which work on site was stopped. Westfield Stratford City is due to open in September 2011 as the largest urban shopping centre in Europe.
