Subcontractors are still waiting on up to ￡110 million for work carried out on the Westfield Shepherd's Bush shopping centre almost two years ago, Construction News understands.rnFirms are still waiting to be paid retention fees from the ￡2.2 billion project. Westfield opened to the public in October 2008 and reached 'practical completion' in July 2009.rnThe final part of subcontractors' fees was due to be paid 12 months after practical completion, subject to a final defects inspection.
