HAE uses Safehire to set standard

The Hire Association Europe (HAE) has rewritten its SafeHire scheme into a Private Standard with the help of the British Standards Institute (BSI).The new scheme includes extra criteria on sustainability and corporate responsibility as well as the specification for management principles for participating companies. Working with the Health and Safety Executive, BSI, CHAS (the Contractors' Health and Safety register) and its members,HAE has ensured the new specification is unambiguous and meets all the latest requirements.
