The Association for Specialist Fire Protection is developing a nationally recognised industry training scheme for passive fire protection An essential element of any aspect in the construction process relates to the competency of installation. There is therefore a fundamental onus of responsibility on all those accountable for design and construction practice within any building programme to ensure that the products chosen and the methods employed for their installation are fit for purpose.
