Job cuts reduced at Bison

More than 50 jobs could be saved at two Laing O'Rourke plants after the contractor scaled back plans to axe jobs. CN broke the news in August that a 90-day consultation had started on a proposal to shut its Bison factory in Scotland with 55 jobs at risk. However, a counter proposal appears to have been accepted and the facility will be kept open, albeit with a reduced workforce.
