Difficult six months for struggling specialists

Since CNinsight published the 2011 lists of the top specialist contractors six months ago,two companies have gone into administration and there have been mixed fortunes for others. More than half the firms featured across our seven CNinsight specialists tables have posted their latest financial results over the past six months.As a result, currently 51 per cent of all firms in the tables have seen turnover fall and 54 per cent have recorded declining pre-tax profits.
