Big screen action at King's Cross

Ischebeck Titan introduced full-height edge protection screens to the UK construction industry in 2005. Since then it has designed and supplied screens to a variety of projects. Appointed by main contractor Kier, Mitchellson Formwork & Civil Engineering tendered for the King's Cross B3 project early in 2012. A budget price for the screens was based on the existing Ischebeck Titan system. But it was soon apparent something more would be required to satisfy stringent safety requirements - the site is adjacent to the St Pancras and King's Cross railway termini. Client specification instructed that two adjacent edges of the 11-storey building were to be screened.
