McLaren Construction has bagged a contract to build a "super distribution centre" for Uniserve in a deal worth around £100m, Construction News can reveal. The 140,000 sq m super shed at the Port of Felixstowe will measure 40 m high. Uniserve said it acquired the site "under exceptional circumstances" as no other suitable commercial plots were available for sale.
