International investors' appetite for new-build commercial office space in London remains undiminished.with the December announcement of plans to build a 73-storey,310 m-tower at One Undershaft in the City of London by Singapore-based developers. The new building, nicknamed by some as the Waffle, will be the tallest building in the City. Global investors continue to be drawn to London by the seemingly inexhaustible demand for commercial office space and high-specification residential property, but often they do not appreciate the particular challenges of building in the City.
