Energy-from-waste problems: Flawed tech and fooled contractors

Let's start with the good news. Energy-from-waste (EfW) has never been more important to the UK. We are facing a well-recognised and acute waste capacity shortage, meaning we need more infrastructure to process residual and municipal waste in the future. And we need more baseload renewable energy to compensate for the transition from fossil fuels - something that EfW has the potential to deliver in spades.
