Atkins and Gleeds have been awarded spots on a £230m framework for cost control and programme delivery on HS2. The framework is divided into two lots, with Atkins winning the £125.5m programme controls lot. The consultancy will carry out quantity surveying, project management consulting, and estimation and calculation of costs for the megaproject. Having beaten four other bidders for the place, the consultant will take on the responsibility of delivering the programme to cost and deadline estimates.
