Lower Thames Crossing: Department for Transport and Treasury making 'faster' decisions

Lower Thames Crossing's (LTC) commercial and procurement director has told Construction News that Brexit has not affected the approval process for the £6.8bn project. The scheme, to link the A2 in Kent to the M25 in Essex via 14.5 miles of road and a tunnel under the Thames Estuary, expects to submit its Development Consent Order to the Planning Inspectorate next year.
