Workers charged following Lakehouse alarm fraud probe

Ten people have been charged following a police investigation into claims of fraud by Lakehouse employees relating to fire alarm installations in Hackney. In July 2014 Hackney Borough Council made an allegation to the Metropolitan Police's Complex Fraud Team that work carried out by Lakehouse and its subcontractors had been overcharged, not carried out or been sub-standard.
